Biography: Combining her personal career discoveries, with being a science-oriented mom, Cheryl created Supply Chain STEM (www.apics.org/stem), a global K-20 program in partnership with industry and universities. Supply Chain STEM enables students to experientially discover STEM and Supply Chain coming to life – through hands on FUN. To date Supply Chain STEM has reached ~20,000 students. It recently won the ASAE Power of A Gold Award and has appeared in several publications, including TIME magazine. Cheryl has a BSE & MSE in Materials Science from the University of Michigan and 25 years’ industry expertise in semiconductor engineering and supply chain. She has held various roles at Motorola and Intel in the US and in Toulouse, France including intrinsic reliability, silicon wafer fabrication, package technology development/manufacturing, and technical program management. She is currently the Director of Academic Outreach at APICS, and resides in Tempe, Arizona with her husband and two daughters.
